Full job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Leader to oversee and lead a team of sales professionals who has experience in Banking, Insurance, MLM, Wholesale dealership and any of its kind of domain.
The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for driving the performance of the sales team, ensuring sales targets are met, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
This role requires a blend of leadership skills, sales expertise, and the ability to mentor and motivate the team to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and performance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to assess individual team member progress and areas for development.
- Foster a positive and high-performance team culture, ensuring collaboration, communication, and accountability.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with company objectives and market conditions.
- Ensure the team consistently applies effective sales techniques and best practices.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting on team performance.
- Work with the management team to develop and refine sales targets, quotas, and performance goals.
3. Target Achievement:
- Monitor and track sales performance against targets and metrics.
- Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to enhance team performance.
- Identify potential obstacles to success and implement corrective actions to ensure sales targets are consistently met.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance in a competitive environment.
